Unpaid Interns

We're looking for 2 or 3 unpaid interns to help us with our backlog of image processing, research, and writing (rough drafts or outlines) as we head into the home stretch of the Swiss Avenue Project.

Candidates will have
at least an intermediate skill level in Photoshop, knowledge of Rapidweaver would be helpful, be able to work with a minimum of supervision, have excellent organizational skills, and not be allergic to cats. We need interns who take direction well but are creative enough to offer solutions, to be an active — not passive — team member.

Or, if you're more verbal than visual, we need someone to
help gather information about the people, homes, businesses, and events on Swiss Avenue. Face-to-face or telephone interviews are needed to flesh out this contemporaneous history, a photo documentary of the entire street, from La Vista to the edge of downtown Dallas.

Regardless of your skill set,
you should be productive, reliable, and willing to commit to 3–10 hours per week for about 2–3 months.

These are unpaid, volunteer intern positions. If you are in school and need documentation of your involvement in TSAP, we're glad to provide it. Your help will also be acknowledged in the book and in the documentation accompanying the 400–600 panorama monograph we plan to donate to the City of Dallas through the Dallas Public Library.
Heck, we'll even feed you lunch while you're here, helping us catch up on our backlog of images.
